I saw this video on the news and then went to hunt for it and I am happy that I found it. Here is a child that just learned to ride his bike and is overcome with so much excitement and new confidence because of tackling and wining over his new learned and experience of riding his bike.
I think this is so cool to me because of my daughters experience this summer of learning this new skill as well. There is nothing more exciting than to see when a child gets that “A-Ha” moment of where knowledge meets experience.
What do you do in your children’s ministry to allow these type of times where kids knowledge of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit can come to a lived out experience to give that “Thumbs Up and Rock and Roll” time for them?

We just started our Growing In God’s Garden outdoor gardening class which is also a Community Garden. During the class the kids work hands-on in the garden by planting, weeding, watering and caring for the plants. Before they beginning working in the garden, I teach from different Bible passages that relate to their spiritual lives and gardening.
