Book Review of Little Red Book of Wisdom

The Little Red book of Wisdom, by Mark DeMoss is written from a story teller who is winding proverbs and anecdotes into the fabric of daily living. Whether its wisdom for your professional life or your personal one, there is a story in here for you.

This book by Mark DeMoss is one of those books that while you are reading it and after you read it, you’ll say “I knew all of this already”, but it was a good reminder. The book provided a lot of interesting stories that people might find surprising. Every chapter has good insight in it and it’s something that many people can learn from especially because of where his insight is inspired from – Proverbs. This is not so much a business book but more of a spiritual one that has definite applications outside of that. His practice of reading a proverb a day is a habit similar to the one I have held for years with reading 2 Psalms and 1 Proverb every day.

This book is a decent book. I know for me it took some time to read not due to new content, or difficulty of content in it, but because it was full of content I already knew. This made it take a back seat to other books that I was reading with new information in it for me. None the less, it is a good book.
